Hi, I’m Ron Eckman, LMFT, BCPCC
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and a Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor (BCPCC) dedicated to helping individuals, couples, teens, and families find healing, growth, and hope. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Christian Counseling and my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University. I also hold certification through the International Board of Christian Care. My passion for counseling is deeply rooted in both my professional training and my personal experiences, which have shaped my commitment to strengthening marriages, relationships, and families.
I have a special heart for serving military members, veterans, first responders, and their families. After serving 24 years on active duty in the United States Air Force, I understand the unique pressures, sacrifices, and challenges that come with military life and transition. With two sons and a son-in-law who also chose military service, I recognize both the personal and family impact that service can have. My goal is to provide a safe, confidential, and supportive environment where you can feel understood, respected, and empowered to work through life’s challenges.
My wife and I have been married for more than 30 years, and together we have three married adult children and a grandchild. While marriage and family life have brought tremendous joy and blessings, I also understand firsthand that relationships require intentional effort, grace, and perseverance. These experiences allow me to approach counseling with empathy, understanding, and compassion for the struggles many couples and families face.
In addition to private practice, I have several years of experience working as a therapist within the school district at the high school level. This experience has given me valuable insight into the emotional, social, and academic challenges that today’s teens encounter both at school and at home.
Whether you are facing personal struggles, relationship difficulties, family challenges, or life transitions, my desire is to come alongside you with encouragement, practical support, and evidence-based care rooted in compassion and respect.
